Writing
For this week’s writing you get to create a new animal that no one has ever seen before.
It needs to be at least 250 words.
Your description is told from your point of view.
You are the one that has discovered this new animal.
The focus of the writing is on describing what your animal looks like physically while also explaining what their adaptations are and how these adaptations help this animal survive.
Tuesday:
1. Think about all the interesting adaptations animals have: aerodynamic body frames for speed, blubber for insulation and protection, speed, the ability to see a mile in every direction, sharp teeth, and so on.
2. Look up a few of your favorite animals and see what their adaptations are.
3. Make a list of the important adaptations you want your animal to have. You will include these in your story.
