Third Grade Home Assignments
Go to the following website to access all online programs mentioned below:
· ELA (English Language Arts):
Writing (20-30 min. Daily)
Practice writing a friendly letter daily (5 letters total).
Please write 3 friendly letters to our community service workers (police officers, nurses, firefighters, doctors, etc.) and then the other 2 friendly letters can be written to whom you wish.
Here are some ideas you can use in your letters: Introduce yourself, thank the community member and tell them why you are thankful, state something encouraging, share a joke, ask questions, share details about your life, and maybe give some encouraging words of wisdom.
Also remember to edit your work for spelling and punctuation.

o Date
o Greeting
o Body
o Closing (From, Sincerely, Love, Your Friend Etc.)
o Signature
Reading (20-30 minutes twice daily) practice reading daily
