Phonemic Awareness 

Math:  8-4, 8-5, 8-6 Topic 8 Test  

Social Studies: 2 articles per week (if you do not have any SS Weekly articles left-then you are finished!)

Scholastic News:  1 article per week until all are complete. 

Skills practice/signs for sounds

Writing-skills practice-Journals

  1. Monday-Make a list of 5 things you miss about school.

  2. Tuesday-Write your opening sentence today. Think about your illustration.

  3. Wednesday-Now that you have your opening (introduction) sentence, write your 5 detail sentences (the 5 things you listed on Monday)

  4. Thursday: Add your closing sentence and begin writing your final copy.

  5. Friday-Complete your final story in your very best printing in your journal.! Add a beautiful, detailed illustration. Turn this in.

  6. Mrs. Crawford’s class do 2 pages in the skills practice book . Ms. Pyle’s class do lesson 30 of signs for sounds

  7. Complete 4 pages in the handwriting book.  Focus on starting your letters from the top and going slow .

  1. Please have your child write their numbers 1-100 weekly, or until mastered.  Focus on starting numbers at the top and watching for reversals.  

  2. Please finish math lessons and homework. If you need assistance, please contact me and I will schedule a phone conference with you.
