Please download this app! ABC Alphabet Phonics. It is free and a great way to practice letter sounds and names. In settings you can make it easier with hints or harder with more letters on the screen. Have fun!

Writing-Letter Work-Journals

    1. Please write the sentence I love my mom! at the bottom of your page. Then draw a detailed picture to show how you feel and what makes you feel that way. ***Please work on adding details to your picture.
    2. Please practice writing letters in the dry erase sleeve.
    3. Please practice writing your FIRST name with a capital letter followed by lowercase letters.
    4. ALWAYS practice your letter names and sounds! You are getting so good!

Math

    1. Please complete set 3 of the cut and paste number jobs I have included in your packet. Have fun and work on those scissor skills. You are doing great!
    2. Play “thumbs up!” Say a number 0-9 and hold up a number card (use sticky notes or scratch paper to make these), either correct or incorrect. Children put thumbs up if it is correct or thumbs down if not. Continue showing numbers until the correct one is displayed. Repeat with other numbers. If they get 100%, introduce numbers 11-15 as a challenge!
    3. NEW Subitize to 5!
    4. Count and move to 20!
    5. ABCs with Usher and Sesame Street
    6. Get Up to Get Down!
    7. Please have your child write their numbers 1-10 daily. I have included them in the dry erase pocket. Focus on starting numbers at the top and watching for reversals.
    8. Please have your child count to 20 and beyond!

    1. Each week you will complete a Scholastic News Magazine. Please sit with your child and read the article front to back, asking questions along the way. Then have them complete the activity on the back. If you would like additional online resources such as a video and game that go with the article please visit,

IF YOUR QR code isn’t working, please message me. I have another way to login. Once you have logged in, please select the application called FRECKLE. Use this as enrichment for math and reading skills. We recommend 15 minutes a day.
