· ELA (English Language Arts):
Writing (20-30 min. Daily)
Continue writing friendly letters. Remember to include in your letter, three things about yourself and three questions you have for the person you are writing to. Also remember to edit your work for spelling and punctuation.
*Remember the 5 parts of a friendly letter
o Date
o Greeting
o Body
o Closing (From, Sincerely, Love, Your Friend Etc.)
o Signature
Monday: Write a friendly letter to a friend
Tuesday: Write a friendly letter to a parent or caregiver
Wednesday: Write a friendly letter to your teacher
Thursday: Write a friendly letter to a community worker
Friday: Write a friendly letter to anyone that you choose.
Reading (20-30 minutes twice daily) practice reading daily
They can choose… read books from home/school, Scholastic News https://classroommagazines.scholastic.com/support/learnathome/grades-1-2.html and/or ANY kind of reading materials you have access to from your home or computer.

Next, the kids will need to enter their Clever login and password. If your child does not know their Clever login/password you can contact their teacher (through Dojo or email) and they will let you know what your child’s login/password is.

Adaptive Math: 20 Minutes daily

Think Central Math
1. Your child will login to Clever (the same way they logged into Freckle).
2. Your child will click on ‘Think Central.’
3. They will enter their Think Central username (student ID followed by @mtuesd.org) and their password (their birthdate without any dashes).
Example: username: 600002345@mtueds.org password: 03222011
4. They will click on ‘Things to Do’
5. They have 5 REVIEW ‘Homework’ assignments that they need to complete for the week.
